The Conference is named Responsibility for Ones Fellow Jewand will focus on manifestations of mutual assistance during the Holocaust period. The Conference will deal with the following subjects: The Vaad Hatzolah of the rabbis in America Agudas Yisraels activites in the Vaad Hatzolah in Istanbul Group support of women in the ghettos and in the camps The Joints role in assisting European Jewry during the Holocaust The role played by leaders and that of the ordinary Jew Psychological aspects of mutual assistance The Conference will include lectures, documentary films, and didactic tutorials. The Conference is recognized by the Ministry of Education and grants nekudot gemul. The Conference is supported by the Holocaust Claims Conference.
